I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! We are having Thanksgiving with my mom and dad this year and I still wanted to be able to make a turkey so the picture above is what I came up with :) Have a great day everyone!
“I wasn’t sold on the idea of institutionalized education. It’s a factory approach — one size fits all,” said Isabel Lyman, author of “The Homeschooling Revolution.”

Apple Turkeys
To end our day we made these fun apple turkey snacks.
We used the items pictured above along with 1 green olive, 2 mini chocolate chips, craisins and a triangle of cheese for the head and neck. We also used 6 toothpicks.
We put it together like this first, but it wouldn't stand up so.......
we moved all the toothpicks around and sliced off a piece on the bottom so it wouldn't fall over. Plus, I think it looks better this way!
Lukes was very proud of what he made and he loved eating it!
